Darren Harris built his elite performance mindset the hard way - by living without it first. He lost his sight as a child and spent years waiting for a miracle cure, instead of learning how to live without one.
The turning point came during his 23-year sporting career, where he became a dual Paralympian, multiple World and European medallist, and most-capped England blind footballer.
During this period, he went from psychology sceptic to scholar. When he realised the problem was never a lack of talent or effort but a missing set of mental skills.
As an award-winning keynote speaker, he specialises in giving leaders and teams the psychological tools to better prepare for and respond to adversity, and has delivered 450+ presentations to 150,000+ people worldwide since 2013.
Beyond the stage, Darren sits on various boards and committees, plays the piano and guitar, and recently signed up for his first Hyrox
